PRIVACY
AUDITS

Your digital life has leaks.
We’ll show you
where.

OccuNX Home Privacy Audits
Stop leaking your life to strangers for free.

Let’s be honest: your devices, apps, browser extensions, “smart” TV, and that discount Wi-Fi router your ISP (Internet Service Provider) gave you are all working harder for advertisers and data brokers than they are for you.

That’s what the OccuNX Privacy Audit is for.  We look at how you actually live and work, find where your data is oozing out, and show you exactly how to lock things down—without telling you to move into a cabin or throw your phone in a lake.

What Is a Home Privacy Audit?

Short version:

We look at your real setup, explain what’s risky, and tell you what to fix first.

We review things like:

  • Devices – phones, laptops, tablets, Wi-Fi routers, smart TVs, speakers, and “smart” gadgets that quietly phone home.
  • Apps & browser add-ons – what’s installed, what permissions they grabbed, and which ones are tracking you for fun and profit.
  • Email & cloud – which providers you use, how your files are stored and shared, and what your settings are actually exposing.
  • Everyday habits – how you browse, shop, stream, and sign up for crap. No judgment… maybe a tiny bit.

You don’t need to be “good with tech."  You just show us what you use. We do the nerd work.

What You Walk Away With

You don’t get a 40-page PDF you’ll never read. You get a plain-language game plan:

  • Clear, human language – no buzzword salad, no “synergizing cyber frameworks.”
  • Prioritized by risk – what to fix this week, what can wait, what’s just nice-to-have.
  • Action steps – specific changes for your devices, accounts, and network.
  • Matched to your comfort level – from “I just want fewer creepy ads” to “I want to be a ghost to data brokers(online data aggregators).”

End result: you know where you’re exposed, what actually matters, and exactly what to do next.

Tier 1: Essential Privacy – Home Audit

A fast, no-nonsense checkup of your digital life.

The Essential Privacy – Home Audit is for people who know things are bad but don’t want to spend weeks learning security jargon.  We focus on the basics that move the needle:

What We Review

  • Core devices – your main phone, computer, tablet, and router
  • Key accounts – email, cloud storage, social, banking, and “login-with-Google” traps
  • Installed apps & extensions – what you actually use vs. what’s just tracking you
  • Browser & tracking settings – cookies, history, autofill, and “personalization” settings that aren’t very personal

What You Get

  • Essential privacy score – how exposed you are right now (no sugarcoating, no panic-bait).
  • Custom checklist – the top changes that will give you the biggest privacy win for the least effort.
  • Step-by-step fixes – turn on this setting, uninstall that app, change this option—written for normal humans, not engineers.
  • Short explanations – so you know why you’re doing something, not just clicking buttons because we said so.

Tier 2: Deep Dive – Home & Personal Privacy Audit

For when you want the whole mess cleaned up, not just dusted.

The Deep Dive – Home & Personal Privacy Audit takes everything in the Essential audit and goes a lot further. This is for people who are serious about reducing their footprint and locking things down long-term.

Think of it as a Home Privacy Cleanup plus a personal exposure hunt.

Step 1 – Purchase & Welcome

You choose the Deep Dive package and check out.
You get:

  • A clear welcome email with what happens next
  • A link to your secure intake form
  • Zero new dashboards or apps to “learn” (you have enough of those already)

Step 2 – Secure Intake & Consent

We only go where you tell us to.

We’ll securely collect:

  • Your name (and any name changes)
  • Current and past addresses
  • Email addresses and important old logins
  • Phone numbers
  • Links to social profiles you actually care about
  • Your consent for us to submit opt-out and removal requests on your behalf

Used only to find your data, lock it down, and get it removed where possible. Not sold. Not “shared with select partners.” None of that nonsense.

Step 3 – Exposure Scan

We run a targeted exposure scan to see how much of your life is floating around:

  • Data-brokers & people-search sites – where your address, age, relatives, and more are being bought and sold
  • Breach databases – where your emails and passwords have already been leaked
  • The open web – search results, PDFs, random listings, and other junk with your info baked in

We turn that into a simple exposure snapshot:

  • How many broker sites have you listed
  • The kind of info they’re publishing
  • Which breaches have hit your emails
  • Any unusual/sensitive exposures that need fast attention

Step 4 – Data-Broker Removal & Opt-Outs

This is the tedious stuff you’ll never get around to doing yourself. We:

  • Submit opt-out and deletion requests to data brokers and people-finder sites
  • Use professional tools plus manual removal for the stubborn ones
  • Track responses and follow up where needed
  • Document what was removed or changed

You get a before/after view so you can actually see the impact.

Step 5 – Account & Device Hardening

Removing public data is only half the work. We also lock the doors and windows.

We help you:

  • Lock down core accounts (email, banking, health, cloud, social)
  • Turn on multi-factor authentication wherever possible
  • Clean up old zombie accounts you don’t use
  • Improve passwords and pick a password manager
  • Turn on full-disk encryption where appropriate
  • Fix privacy and security settings on your phone and computer

You get a personal hardening checklist so you know what changed and what to keep an eye on.

Step 6 – Optional: OccuNX Privacy Router & Home Network Lock-down

For people who want the home network fixed, not just the apps:

  • A router pre-configured with sane privacy and security defaults
  • Safer Wi-Fi names and passwords (no more “xfinity-something-123”)
  • Proper guest networks so visitors don’t get full access to your stuff
  • Best-practice settings to cut down on device tracking and random inbound nonsense

We can usually do this remotely; on-site is possible where available.

Step 7 – OccuNX Privacy Report & Ongoing Plan

At the end, you get a clear, visual OccuNX Privacy Report that summarizes:

  • Your original exposure
  • What we removed or reduced
  • What we hardened and how
  • Any hardware/network upgrades
  • A simple ongoing plan (what to check monthly, what to ignore, when to call us again)

You also have the option to enroll in OccuNX Privacy Maintenance:

  • Periodic re-scans of data brokers
  • Breach alerts and recommended actions
  • Check-ins to keep your settings and hardware current

You don’t have to magically vanish from the internet.  But you absolutely can stop being an easy target.
